they are worth it. when u are running around (with dead silence) all u can hear is everyone else. u can hear silencers from like a mile away. a great advantage!!!! i recommend them.

I use TB X4's and A40s from Astro. I like the X4's better cause you can here someone plant and disarm the bomb from a further distance. But the A40s have a mix amp which lets u turn down the game volume and turn up the footsteps of people. X3's arent just for PC they were made for 360 but can be used for PC. They were made as a BETTER replacement for the X2's which we discountinued. X'3 are better than X1 because of the expanded stereo, which gives it a sourround sound feel. http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/efx3/home.aspx <---X3's

nope its part of the blood but its the liquid thats with the red blood cells. they have a michine that pulls the cells out of the liquid and injects them back into you and keeps the liquid for later use.

5.1 Headsets

OK, I think everyone needs to know this about "5.1" headphones.

Let's put it simply - it does not work.

Take the already discussed Sharkoon X-Tatic 5.1 headset. As per the specification sheet: "8 speakers for perfect surround sound". 8 speakers, in a headphone. Can you not see the problem there? There's two big things wrong with this. First of all, the whole idea of surround sound is that you have multiple speakers surrounding you. There is simply not enough speaker separation inside of headphones to give any sort of surround sound effect. The only way this is going to work is if some company invents a headset where the speakers are put on little metal arms and dangled around your head -- how silly is that going to look?
dont be cheapspend at least over 50 on your headset

I recently bought the Astro A40's. I got them for 170$ on Ebay so I got a pretty good deal. A headset is def. worth the money, I think everyone should invest in one if they don't have a surround sound setup.
