Overusing a gun

This has been happening a lot lately. I use a good gun too much and I stink with it. Like the MP5, I owned with it, but now i stink.

i use the ak-47 too much

i think thats what happend to me when i played wiht my M40 too much then startd playing with the other snipers, now i sck with the M40

it happened to me with mp5. i used it all the time then i became terrible with it. now im back using it and its amazing.

I kind of had same problem with p90 of all weapons. During my 0th and 1st prestige I think all i used was the p90 (after i unlocked it at lvl 40). I mean its a badass gun. But then I discovered the mp5 and found myself consistently doing avg with the p90 compared to when using the mp5. never really used the p90 again till my 6th prestige when I used it enough to unlock all the scopes. I guess using it enough, made me realize just how ridiculously powerful this weapon can be.

I think I'm going through that with the MP5. I don't know what it is but it seems like ages since I felt that I've played well. I have been breaking even way to often and when I do go for a big round I can't help but notice it was against really inferior talent (went 42-6 on Downpour in TDM) so I don't feel satisfied. Hopefully the same is happening to me because I miss kicking ass with my MP5.

ya i went thru alot of that. Especially playing weeks in december where all i could play is about a match or 2 and then my dsl would blank out. Could never get in a rhythm.

The people you go up against makes all the difference. But if your really not doing well with a weapon what i do when this happens is switch weapons. sometimes it helps sometimes not.

the only time Im satisfied with a TDM is getting 50 + kills. Which I have done twice in the last week. Also use to overuse the P90, though realized that the game would get boring and changed it up a bit. Completed all the challenges (all of them), and know i just mess around.

I dont really use any gun to much. But if I had to pick one gun to over use it would probably be either the M16 or the M4.
