TACTICS

When using the Barrett .50cal, always remember that you are going to drop your target in a few hits, depending on what Perks they are using and if you are shooting through a wall or other surface.
Just to make sure of this, choosing Stopping Power for Perk 2 is a good choice, but also consider the slow reload time of the Barrett .50cal; maybe you would rather choose Sleight of Hand?
If you either aren’t very good at aiming or run out of bullets easy choose Bandolier as Perk 1. If you usually stay in one place most of the time consider choosing Claymore x 2 instead. Plant the Claymores wherever your enemies can reach you from, for example, if you are sniping in a room upstairs plant a Claymore at the bottom and top of the stairs so you don’t have to constantly watch your back.
Though the .50cal doesn’t have a silencer available (none of the sniper rifles do) you can still be quite stealthy. Use UAV Jammer so enemies’ Radar can’t find you and also use Dead Silence so you don’t make as much noise when you move. You may also want a silenced pistol; every pistol can be silenced but the Desert Eagle. The USP .45 is a good choice.
Maybe you want to be a more aggressive sniper. Simple. Equip the ACOG Scope to your .50cal. and choose Juggernaut so you can stay alive longer. Steady Aim helps you in case you need to no-scope (aim without using your scope) up close, and, as always, the Desert Eagle is a great choice for sniping class sidearm.
Another way to do good in medium to close range is to choose Overkill so you can have two regular guns but no pistol. Good choices for your secondary gun are just about any full auto gun, preferably assault rifles or submachine guns. A good choice for Perk 3 is Martyrdom if you die close to enemy players.
